Investments in pandemic times

There is no doubt that the year 2020 was difficult for everyone. It came along with the greatest health crisis in recent decades and extremely high uncertainty in global economy. For a relatively small company like Arrosi, dedicated to crepe paper production, this period was undoubtedly delicate. However, thanks to the effort and commitment of all the workers, we managed to keep the activity going every single day, even during the 14-day long lockdown...

Investments in pandemic times

Investments made to date also played a key role. In previous years, the company worked very hard to improve production and management processes. Without knowing it, we were prepared to face such a pandemic without compromising the quality of our services.

Resilience and continuous improvement are two main features that have defined Arrosi during 35 years of life. Now, more than ever, we are convinced that we need to continue betting on those same principles. It is a way of “being” and “doing” that allows us to continue improving the products and services that we offer our clients.

The pandemic also reminded us of the fragility of our life, the need to take care of ourselves and the importance of preserving biodiversity and our planet.

With all this in mind, we have made several investments in the last 19 months since the pandemic began:

  • Substitution of the steam generator for a more efficient and less polluting one.
  • Burying energy tanks.
  • Repairing outdoor roofs, expansion and conditioning of the access road.
  • Adequacy of our computer systems, improving cyber security and teleworking aspects.
  • SEO positioning and digital marketing thanks to our new website.

These have been the latest investments, although they will not be the last ones. We will continue investing with the objective of potential applications of our crepe paper.

 Arrosi Crepe Papers.
